Long Branch Firefighters Train for Ocean Rescue

This week the Long Branch Professional Firefighters are completing their annual Ocean Rescue training down on the beachfront. Our members are well trained in Ocean Rescue to help supplement our city Lifeguards during the summer months as well as in the off season. In the event of a emergency the on duty members respond immediately with our Office of Emergency Management Humvee (pictured above) equipped with multiple ocean rescue torpedos, paddle boards, and lifejackets.
